About The Barn Owls
The Barn Owls was founded in 2023 by musicians located in Temecula and Southern California. With a common interest in creating an authentic blues sound reminiscent of artists from the 1920s, 30s and 40s, the band has found their niche.
When they started rehearsing early in 2023, the group had a deep knowledge and understanding of the rich history associated with such artists as Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Little Walter and many others who were influenced by the music industry not only here in the USA but Europe and other parts of the world.
The Barn Owls create that old Mississippi Delta blues sound using the vintage gear used by artists of that genre. Tube amplifiers, slide guitar, microphones help them create that sound so often associated with the original blues artists.
